Comrades and friends:

Despite the hot day and the holidays, the action in support to Mapuche People denounces Chilean government injustice and lack of humanity. Here are some photos from yesterday January 15 rally/Meeting in Solidarity with Mapuche struggle in the streets of Melbourne Australia.

Demanding to the Chilean government the release of the Mapuche political prisoners and to stop the harassment on Mapuche communities in Chile, which in the last days has been increasing with the execution of 22 years old university student Matias Catrileo Quezada. The young Mapuche man was shot in the back upon retreating, when Chilean police began firing indiscriminately into the crowd with machine guns, and detentions of Mapuche leaders and non indigenous supporters.

Last medical report of Patricia Troncoso said that she is dying, the Chilean government especially its President Michelle Bachelet will be accountable in case of this tragedy.
We call to all of those people in Solidarity with indigenous Mapuche nation to be alert in the coming developments.
